Shocker to absolutely no one, but I have the prioritisation skills of a toddler in a toy store.

Add into the mix trying to build a creative business, art and the daily responsibilities of life… and honestly? Sometimes I end up feeling so overwhelmed with the things I “have” to do that I end up doing nothing at all.

After some training, tips and just dedicating time to actually “think” about things… I’ve come up with a strategy that’s been working for me for the past 3 months, and I’d LOVE to share it with you guys.

Below are the steps (in video form or written)!

Prioritisation Tips for Budding Artist/Entrepreneurs

(Based off of what’s working for me!)

Prioritisation Steps (short and to the point!)

  1. Get all of your tasks out of your head and onto paper (or your notes app).

  2. Break them up into categories of importance to you (in the video I talk specifically about art-entrepreneurship and my categories, but yours may look different depending on your circumstances!).

  3. Tackle the tasks in that order of importance!

Simple? Yes. But honestly, the amount of stress relief and actually being able to get the right things done has added a level of confidence to my business that, frankly, I really appreciate. So, even if it’s a small, small, tiny tip… it's made a huge difference to me, and I wanted to share.

Have a lovely week and don’t forget to leave feedback below! It will help the newsletter out immensely (and be very much appreciated!).
