I used to say, “for beginners” but I realised that has many different meanings depending on who you ask… So this is what I mean:
For me, ‘beginners’ means someone who is somewhat familiar with creating. You’re definitely not a professional, but you have some familiarity with having a practice.
If you study an art degree, or have recently graduated from one. I would deffo recommend the newsletter.
However, if you’ve never had a consistent ‘practice’ of art, this might not be the newsletter for you. You can still sign up and try the Free Trial! Ultimately, you know yourself best.
Great question! The reason is simple—I’m just starting out. I personally fund all the marketing for this business with my salary from my 9-5, and sometimes that means it takes time for the people who need it most to discover it.
Right now, I can only vouch for myself, which is why I keep the price low and offer a free trial for the first month. You can try it, and if you don’t like it, you can simply cancel the subscription. There’s no risk to you.
Admittedly, it takes me weeks to carefully research and curate the best opportunities for beginner artists. But just because it takes me a while, doesn’t mean you should have to pay a high price for something you’re not fully sure about.
Right now, I run a Free Trial for artists to access the list and see if it’s right for them. After this, subsequent months cost just £2 for the subscription. If it’s not for you, you’re free to cancel at any time—so the risk is low, but the potential reward is high!
You're absolutely right—there are plenty of creative job boards and opportunity sites out there. But are they specifically tailored to beginning artists? No. Are they focused on the UK? Not always. Can you easily tell the valuable opportunities from the time-wasters? Sometimes Yes - sometimes No.
While there are tons of opportunities out there, high quantity doesn’t always mean high quality. It’s not always clear whether they’re meant for experienced artists or open to beginners, which can lead to wasted hours applying—only to never hear back. Sorting through it all can take time, effort, and patience.
But my list will save you time, give you encouragement and conveniently send the opportunities to you — all you have to do is open the email.
When you purchase the free trial of my Creative Opportunities List, I only receive two things: your name and your email. Your payment details are held by a third party provider (Stripe) that I have no access to. That’s it—I have no access to any other personal details from you.
You’re in full control of your subscription. You’ll receive the curated opportunity list twice a month and you can cancel anytime — no hassle, no questions asked.
To cancel, simply click ‘unsubscribe’ at the bottom of any email, or email me directly, and I’ll handle it for you. Your time, your choice.
There are only opportunities to gain!
